GXDE 2025 Edition RC Begins Testing (2025.04.30)

GXDE 2025 Edition is a Linux distribution based on Debian Trixie, featuring the classic deepin Desktop Environment from the deepin 15 era. GXDE OS aims to create a beginner-friendly, lightweight, elegant, and out-of-the-box Linux distribution.

Installation Notes

The RC version is part of the closed beta by default. Stability is not guaranteed, and it is intended for early adopters. Users seeking stability should wait for the Stable version after Debian Trixie's official release.

Known Issues in RC

Control Center cannot read KWin window control shortcut configurations but can still set them normally.
